Description

Rent & Utility Assistance is available for York County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

  • To qualify, you must:
    • Be a resident of York County
    • Rent your home or apartment
    • Demonstrate a financial impact related to the COVID-19 pandemic
    • Have a household income of less than 80 percent of average median income (AMI)
  • Please complete all information on the pages that follow and submit documentation as requested to ensure a complete and accurate application. 
  • If you are unable to complete your application in one sitting, you will be able to save and exit and pick up where you left off. Please make a note of your login information so that you can easily access the application to complete it.
  • Your landlord will receive an email asking for additional information (Landlord Certification & Rent Information).  Applications cannot be processed without the landlord certification & rent information.
  • If you need assistance with your application, please make an appointment at CPC or please contact one of our community partners (link), located throughout York County. You can also email eraptechassist@yorkcpc.org.
    • CPC will not be taking applications or answering questions by phone.  If you need assistance with your application, please make an appointment.
  • You can assign a collaborator (someone to assist you) to this application. This option will only be available at the beginning of the applications (left hand side of the screen - grey box "Add Collaborator").
  • This is an application portal that will allow you to check the status of your application in real time. Please make a note of your login information so that you can easily access status updates.
  • Once all information is received, including landlord information, the verification and payment process could take up to 30 days.  
  • Please check your email regularly, as you will receive updates about your application status via email. As a note, the agency will have limited capacity to answer phone calls for inquiries regarding applications.
